Mekdes Haddis | General Editor
I was born and raised in Ethiopia, moved to the states at 19 and graduated with a Communications Degree from Liberty University. My husband, Ermias and I met in Ethiopia 15 years ago but been married 5 with a little one. I have worked for three mega-churches and currently serve as a Discipleship Director at my local church. I’m in Seminary at Gordon-Conwell Seminary, I am a bridge-builder in my community and blessed to be African missionary living in the U.S. This journey with the Lord I believe is a call to die to my flesh and live continually for him. It’s a daily struggle but also a true joy since I always find him right there to lift me up and never leaving me to struggle by myself. I write my prayers, my hopes, and dreams, my struggles and work through scripture to bring the truth of the Just God before myself and those around me. My goal is to make sure, Christ is the center of our social Justice, racial reconciliation and discipleship conversations. All truth is God’s truth, and if we search the scriptures we will find it all there. I hope my blog will encourage, challenge, edify and embolden you! Please subscribe and join me on this journey!
